The Collection

The Zen Collection

Modern living is filled with movement, information and constant distraction. We rarely experience true quiet. Yet the spaces we live in have the power to influence how we feel.

A painting cannot slow the world down.
But it can slow a room down.

Each work in this collection is intentionally minimal, allowing colour, texture and light to breathe. Soft neutrals, harmonious palettes and carefully balanced compositions invite a feeling of stillness rather than demanding attention.

The Zen Collection

Born from a simple question:
how do we create more calm in everyday life?

Blue Mountains — mountain ranges traced in fine gold and cream line work, oil on canvas

Blue Mountains

Oil on canvas · 2026

Ranges of deep teal and ochre rise and fall in thousands of hand-drawn lines — a landscape reduced to breath and rhythm. Up close, the surface moves like wind over water. From across the room, it settles into perfect stillness.

Becoming — ocean waves rendered in fine blue and cream lines, oil on canvas

Becoming

Oil on canvas · 2025 · In private collection

An ocean remembered rather than photographed. Wave after wave is built from patient, meditative line work — the sea’s energy held in suspension, quiet enough to live with every day.

Misty Ocean Horizon — layers of sea-mist blues, soft greens and morning gold, oil on canvas

Misty Ocean Horizon

Oil on canvas · 2026 · In private collection

The lightest work of the collection — layers of sea-mist blues, soft greens and morning gold meeting at a quiet horizon. Painted for rooms that ask for brightness without noise.

The First Imprint — abstract sage green line work, oil on canvas

The First Imprint

Oil on canvas · 2026 · In private collection

Soft greens and grey-blues circle a single quiet centre. A painting about the pause between two breaths — and a natural companion to interiors built around plants, timber and natural light.

Heatwave — large copper-toned line work painting in a contemporary living room

Heatwave

Oil on canvas · 2026 · In private collection

The warm register of the collection — copper, bronze and burnt umber flowing in continuous ridgelines. It grounds a room the way earth grounds a landscape, pairing naturally with leather, timber and stone.

Velvet Terrain — grey and cream line work in a silver frame
VI.

Velvet Terrain

Oil on canvas · 2026 · Framed

Monochrome, restrained, almost drawn rather than painted. For spaces where a single quiet gesture says enough.

Why I Paint
“I don’t paint to fill empty walls. I paint to create spaces that feel different.”
Lana Zueva

In a world that encourages us to move faster and consume more, I choose to create work that asks nothing from the viewer except to slow down.
